Available from November 5, guests can complement their stay with the following: morning walks with their Irish Wolfhound from Thursday to Monday or, on Tuesday and Wednesday, a very special heritage walk with a local heritage expert; complimentary access to Éalú, a state-of-the-art leisure facility featuring a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gym and a separate children's splash pool; complimentary nightly movie screenings in the private cinema; and complimentary green fees for the nine-hole golf course.
For a more immersive experience, guests can extend their stay and enjoy a two-night gourmet getaway from €1,1602 based on two people sharing. In addition to all of the complimentary extras such as the estate’s leisure facility, golf, movie screenings and a welcome drink, guests will enjoy a seasonal five-course dinner in the prestigious George V Dining Room on one evening.
The George V Dining Room is a testament to the castle’s grandeur, with menus that showcase the finest locally sourced ingredients alongside those from the estate’s kitchen gardens, prepared by world-class executive head chef, Liam Finnegan. The culinary experience is further enhanced by the elegant ambiance and an extensive wine list curated by head sommelier, Paul Fogerty, who works closely with chef and his team, with wine recommendations to complement each dish.
