Likely impact of Storm Ernesto across west coast flagged

Tropical Storm Ernesto is forecast to become a major hurricane before then weakening.

The remnants of it will weaken and likely cross the Atlantic next week.

According to Carlow Weather, the path is uncertain but what is left could influence our weather later next week.

"But a hurricane is NOT coming to Ireland," the platform added.
