Mayo native steals the show at Rose of Tralee Festival
Ballina man Garron Noone captivated the audience at this year’s Rose of Tralee festival, delivering a memorable performance alongside renowned musician Sharon Shannon.
Noone, widely recognised for his catchphrase “I’m Delicious” and his dynamic presence on social media, was one of the standout performers at the event, which took place last night in Kerry.
Singing with some of Ireland’s top musicians, he wowed the packed arena with his rendition of the popular tune “Galway Girl,” just before the announcement of the 2024 Rose of Tralee winner.
Despite the absence of a Mayo Rose in this year’s competition, Noone ensured that the county was well represented on the night. His appearance drew praise from viewers, especially during his interview with Kathryn Thomas on RTÉ’s live broadcast, where he showcased his humble charm.
The 2024 Rose of Tralee title was awarded to Keely O’Grady, the New Zealand Rose, but Noone garnered significant attention online for his performance.
The Ballina musician, comedian, and content creator has rapidly risen to fame, amassing over a million followers on TikTok and Instagram.
This isn’t the first time Noone has made waves in the entertainment scene. Just last week, he took to the stage at Electric Picnic, solidifying his reputation as one of Mayo’s most talented and entertaining exports.
