Mayo FF general election strategy remains a mystery

The Fianna Fáil strategy for the next general election remains unclear ahead of next Friday’s selection convention in the Ivy Tower Hotel, Castlebar, commencing at 8.30 p.m.

Four names been nominated to contest the convention, namely Minister of State Dara Calleary, Senator Lisa Chambers, Councillor Brendan Mulroy and Councillor Damian Ryan.

But mystery surrounds whether or not party HQ wants to run two or three candidates, thus leaving delegates somewhat at odd with the process.
