Swimming ban imposed on popular Mayo beach

A bathing prohibition/Do Not Swim notice has been issued today for Old Head Beach, Louisburgh.

The action was taken due to deterioration in bathing water quality.

The notice will remain in place until further water testing has been undertaken.
