Another life-saving defibrillator for south Mayo community

ANOTHER life-saving initiative has been put in place in the Claremorris community.

A new defibrillator has been installed at Kilbeg, on the wall outside the estate.

Claremorris South Responder Group have welcomed the installation and paid tribute to the College Green Residents Association, Kilbeg, Claremorris, the community of Kilbeg, and Paul Maher on successfully installing another semi automatic defibrillator with heated cabinet.

The defibrillator is located on the wall outside the housing estate with the postcode F12E8W8. The case is also illuminous and can be seen from a distance.

In a social media post they also explained: “This is also an unlocked case, saves valuable time when retrieving the defibrillator. Remember when retrieving a defibrillator also bring the small responder bag with you.”
