CHRISTINA WALKIN, CASTLEBAR

Christina Walkin (née Gibbons), 30 Meadow Park, Westport Road, Castlebar, and formerly of Rowan Drive, Castlebar.

She died at Mayo Hospice surrounded by her loving family.

Christina is deeply mourned by her husband and soul mate John, children Tara, Aoife and Shane, and parents Jack and Eileen (née Murray), Rowan Drive, Castlebar.

She is also survived by her parents-in-law Nina and John Tunney, brothers Declan, Martin and Alan, sisters Rosaleen and Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, partners, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and her special friends.

Christina will repose at her home, 30 Meadow Park, Westport Road, Castlebar, on Thursday from 5 to 7.30 p.m.

Removal from her home on Friday morning and arriving at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, at 11 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m.

Afterwards Christina will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar.

MARY BRENNAN, TAUGHEEN, CLAREMORRIS

Mary Brennan (née Carroll), Shessaugh, Taugheen, Claremorris, and Kilmaine.

She died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness.

Predeceased by her loving husband John, her beloved daughter Bernadette, her sons-in-law Tony and Eddie, sister Nellie and brother John.

She is sadly missed by her sons Martin, Gerry, John and Anthony (Dublin), daughters Teresa Woulfe (Northampton), Martina Joyce (Newbrook), Susan, Elsie and Christina Moore (Bohola), daughters-in-law Beatrice, Marie and Roisin, son-in-law John Moore, sisters Winifred Byrne (Donegal) and Bridget Doherty (Birmingham), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Colman’s Funeral Home, Lower James Street, Claremorris, on Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Removal from her residence on Thursday morning to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Crossboyne, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

EAMON QUINN, BALLINA

Eamonn Quinn of Erdington, Birmingham, and formerly of Ballina.

He died peacefully at Good Hope Hospital, Sutton, Coldfield, on September 3.

Predeceased by his parents George and Carmel Quinn.

Beloved husband of Joan and dear father of Carmel, Andrew and John.

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, grandchildren Liam, Conor, Hugo, Maisie and Matilda, nieces, nephews, kind neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Mass takes place on Friday, October 18, at 11.30 a.m. at Erdington Abbey, Birmingham, followed by burial in Oscott Cemetery.
