Mayo GAA confirms that Kevin McStay will continue as senior manager for 2025

Mayo GAA has this evening confirmed that Kevin McStay will continue as the manager of the senior football team for 2025.

The announcement follows the conclusion of their annual end-of-year review with the Mayo senior football management team.

“The Mayo GAA Coiste Bainistí would like to wish the players and the management team all the very best of luck for 2025,” the brief statement issued this evening concluded.

Under McStay this year, Mayo finished in mid-table in Division 1 of the Allianz National Football League, were beaten by Galway in the Connacht championship final, and exited the All-Ireland series at the preliminary quarterfinal stage, losing to Derry on penalties in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar.
