Italian parliamentarians visit Mayo's Marian Shrine

KNOCK Shrine was honoured to welcome a group of Italian parliamentarians who visited Ireland’s International Eucharistic and Marian Shrine on Sunday, during their pilgrimage to Ireland.

The visitors enjoyed a guided tour of the beautiful shrine grounds and learned more about the fascinating history of Knock at the award-winning Knock Museum.

The group was led by His Excellency, Archbishop Rino Fisichella, Pro-Prefect of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Evangelisation, who celebrated Mass in the Apparition Chapel.

The visitors are pictured with Archbishop of Tuam Francis Duffy and Fr. Richard Gibbons, Rector of Knock Shrine, on this memorable occasion.
