INMO Trolley watch: 447 patients on trolleys in Irish hospitals

The latest figures from the Irish Midwives and Nurses Organisation (INMO) show there is 447 patients waiting for beds in Irish Hospitals.

329 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 118 are in wards elsewhere in hospitals.

The hospital with the most patients waiting for a bed is University Hospital Limerick, with 77 patients waiting for beds.

32 people are in the emergency department, with 45 people in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

Cork University Hospital has 62 people waiting for beds, with 51 patients in the emergency department.

University Hospital Galway has 45 people waiting for beds, with 35 people waiting in the emergency department.
