Full car parks in Mayo county town impacts shopping

A report on parking permits in Castlebar's two main public car parks has been requested.

The Main Street and Castle Street car parks are full early in the morning, and this is impacting shoppers coming in, said Councillor Ger Deere.

It would be interesting to see many monthly permits and residential permits are issued for the two locations, he told a municipal district meeting, asking for a report.
