P.J. (JOE) KEARNEY, CASTLEBAR

The death has occurred of P.J. Kearney (better known as Joe) UK, and formerly of Mount Gordon, Westport Road, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Teresa and his nephews Cian and Darragh.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Beverley, sisters Pauline (UK), Catherine Fitzgibbon (Castlebar), Teresa Smyth (Dublin), Tony, Noel, Paddy, Cathal, (Castlebar) and Edward (UK) and extended families.

Joe's funeral will take place in the UK at a later date.

JOHN (JACKIE) GOONAN, DOOHOMA

John (Jackie) Goonan, Doohoma, and late of New York.

Jackie was predeceased by his beloved wife Anne Goonan, parents Mary and John Goonan, sister Ellen Keher and his brothers Paddy Joe and Seamus Goonan.

He will be deeply missed by his sisters Annie Sweeney (New York), Mary O'Keeffe (Connecticut), Bridie Corrigan (Birmingham), and his brother Micheál Goonan (London), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Church, Doohoma, on Saturday, October 5, at 12 noon, followed by burial at Doohoma Cemetery.

PATRICK WARDE, BRICKENS

The death has occurred of Patrick (Padraig) Warde, Kilnock, Brickens, Claremorris, and New York, USA.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

CELIA GALLAGHER, DOONCASTLE

Celia Gallagher (née Fogarty), Cloonlarin, Doocastle, and formerly of Tubber, Co. Galway,

Predeceased by her beloved husband Tommy Pete and her parents Mary and William Fogarty.

She is sadly missed and remembered by her daughters Helena (Sherlock) and Jackie (McMorrow), sons Liam, Thomas, Leo, Noel and Peter, sons-in-law Kieran Sherlock and Sean McMorrow, daughters-in-law Anne, Susan and Maureen, Leo's partner Carmel and Liam's partner Sheena, her 14 cherished grandchildren Bill, Aaron, Roisin, Joseph, Kelsey, Niamh, Brian, Michael, Aoibhin, Cathal, Mia, Lottie, Brenna and Luke, 4 great-grandchildren Celia May, Annie, Tommy and Caden, sisters Bernie Burke and Bridget Garcia, brother Billy Fogarty, sisters-in-law Gertie, Mary and Patsy, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Celia will repose at Coen's Funeral Home, The Square, Tubbercurry, on Thursday from 4 until 7 p.m.

Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Rooskey, with her burial afterwards in Carracastle Cemetery.

EDDIE LAVELLE, BALLINA

Eddie Lavelle, "Burton Street House", Killala Road, Ballina

Predeceased by his beloved wife Maureen and his son John.

Sadly missed by his loving son Ed (Dublin), daughters Yvonne and Regina (Ballina), daughters-in-law Marian, Mireille, sons-in-law Kevin, Russell, grandchildren Ben, Roisín, Milo, Colm, Aoibhínn, Izarra and Elizabeth, sisters-in-law, Madge Lavelle, Nellie Higgins, and Phil McMananon, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina, this evening (Wednesday) from 6 until 7:30 p.m.

Funeral will arrive to St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

WILLIAM SKEFFINGTON, CHARLESTOWN

William Skeffington, Bellaghy, Charlestown, and Levenshulme, Manchester.

He was dearly loved Dad of Lisa, Cara and Billy and treasured grandad of Mikey. He was also a dear brother and uncle.

William will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

His remains will repose at the Horkan Funeral Home, Charlestown, on Saturday evening from 5 to 6.30 p.m. with removal to St James's Church, Charlestown, for prayers at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass takes place on Sunday at 1.30 p.m followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

TOM MORLEY, BEKAN

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary (née Gibbons) sons Luke, Thomas and his fiancée Shriya, daughters Moira and Valerie, brothers John (Canada) and Alec (Sligo), sisters Myra Walsh (Drimaderra), Margaret Gethons (Canada), Kathleen Morley (Ballyfarna), Sheila Carney (Leixlip), Breege O'Meara (Celbridge) and Lena Mulligan (Ballaghaderreen), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at the Marian Funeral Home, Knock on Thursday from 6 o’clock with removal at 8 o’clock to the Church of St. John The Baptist, Knock.

Mass on Friday at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Knock Cemetery.
