The TF Royal Castlebar has launched its 2024 autumn/winter season with a spectacular array of live performances, headlined by the world-renowned Lord of the Dance.

This iconic show, created by Irish dance legend Michael Flatley, comes to Castlebar for six breathtaking performances from January 2 to 5 2025.

With tickets going on sale Friday, October 4, at 10 a.m., this is an unmissable opportunity to witness one of the most celebrated dance shows of all time.

Having captivated over 60 million people across 60 countries, Lord of the Dance is a perfect Christmas gift for any fan of Irish culture and dance.

“We are incredibly excited to host Lord of the Dance here at TF Royal Castlebar,” said Michael Yates, general manager of the TF Royal Castlebar.

“This show is a cultural phenomenon, and bringing it to Castlebar for multiple performances is a testament to the quality of entertainment we strive to provide.

"We look forward to welcoming audiences from near and far for what will surely be an unforgettable event.”

In addition to Lord of the Dance, the TF Royal’s autumn/winter schedule promises an exciting mix of world-class entertainment.

Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James will grace the stage on December 20, bringing his chart-topping hits to Castlebar for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.

The venue has also lined up a series of incredible comedians, including Tommy Tiernan, Jimmy Carr, Deirdre O’Kane, and Dara Ó Briain. Live music lovers will enjoy performances from Hot House Flowers, Lisa Hannigan, Kingfishr, and Villagers, while diverse entertainment options such as illusionist Keith Barry and Cirque for families are sure to delight.

For sports fans, they will host events featuring legends like darts sharpshooter Phil Taylor, and football stars Paul McGrath, Andy Cole and Jaap Stam.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there, the entertainment destination has also just announced Castlebar’s own Sarah Butler, bringing her unique event, Sarah’s Food Fest experience to the TF Royal on January 4.

Meanwhile, Mark McCabe, the legendary DJ behind the anthem "Maniac 2000", is set to return to Castlebar for an electrifying New Year’s Eve bash, sure to end 2024 on a high note.

For those looking to celebrate the festive season, the TF Royal Castlebar has a range of Christmas Party options, including dinner and show packages for Jarlath Regan, Queen and ABBA tributes, and the ever-entertaining Faulty Towers Dining Experience.

With dates available throughout December, the venue offers something for every taste.

During Christmas week, they've also got Castlebar’s own Alan Clarke returning for the fourth time with big news coming soon, along with The Whistlin’ Donkeys and The 30+ Club, which will be making its debut appearance in the west.

For businesses unable to celebrate in December, the TF Royal has added Take it to the Limit in January, alongside Lord of the Dance—the perfect way to extend the festive season.

The TF Royal is committed to delivering a complete entertainment experience.

Its Green Room Bar & Restaurant offers a range of pre-show dining options, with delicious meals and drinks available for guests looking to make their evening even more special.

For those who want to keep the fun going after the show, the Green Room hosts live local entertainment late into the night, ensuring that the night doesn’t have to end when the curtains close.
