North Mayo school extension to proceed to tender

INVER National School in north Mayo has received approval from the Minister for Education to proceed to tender for an extension, Minister Dara Calleary has confirmed.

The additional accommodation comprises a mainstream classroom, a special education training room and a universal access WC.

Minister Calleary congratulated all involved in the project, including school principal Diane Cosgrove, staff and the board of management, as well as local Councillor Sean Carey who has been making on the matter and who also welcomed the progress.
