Move to establish position on proposed Mayo neurology facility

An on-site neurology service should be set up at Mayo University Hospital.

That's according to the national neurology Model of Care.

It is also contained in a report commissioned by the Saolta Hospital Group.

Now Mayo TD Rose Conway-Walsh wants to know when the proposal will be progressed.

Health Minister Stephen Donnelly has asked the HSE to respond directly to Deputy Conway-Walsh on the matter.
