Home Care Award nomination for Mayo service staff member

HOME Instead Mayo has announced that its on-call scheduler, Linda Persson, has been shortlisted in the Scheduler of the Year category at this year's Home Care and Community Ireland (HCCI) Home Care Awards.

Frances Maloney, general manager at Home Instead Mayo, said: “Linda's outgoing nature and exceptional skills have made her a vital part of the Home Instead Mayo scheduling team in the two years since she joined us. She exhibits excellent teamwork skills and excels at her job.”

As the on-call scheduler, Linda takes on the responsibility of handling after-hours calls, ensuring that coverage is provided at all times.

The HCCI Home Care Awards 2024 take place on October 24 in the Park Hotel, Dungarvan, and aim to recognise and honour the commitment and hard work of the individuals who make home care possible across Ireland.

Linda's nomination is a testament to her dedication to providing excellent care and support to older adults in Mayo.
