Mayo footballer on international duty this week

FORMER Kiltimagh Knock United player Thomas Morley is on international duty this week.

He has been selected on the Ireland Under 19 squad for three games against Greece, Croatia and Mexico.

Ireland will play Greece today (Wednesday), followed by Croatia on Saturday and Mexico next Tuesday.

The midfielder currently plays on the Sligo Rovers Under 20 team.

Kiltimagh Knock United also saw another former player, Roisin Molloy, hitting the headlines this week when she picked up the National Women's League Premier Division title with Athlone Town AFC at the weekend.

Athlone were crowned champions after defeating Bohemians 2-0 to take the title with one game left to play.
