Celebrations as Kilkelly Trimoige Community Centre is officially opened

THERE were celebrations in Kilkelly on Sunday as the Kilkelly Trimoige Community Centre was officially opened.

Taking centre stage to cut the ribbon were Paddy Nyland and Dympna Fagan.

The state of the art community centre was funded through North East Leader and Kilkelly & District Company have tirelessly worked hard to get it up and running.

The centre is a hive of activity, with a wide range of activities, from line dancing to tai chi, pilates, Foróige, and lots more. Upcoming events include a Christmas market and visit by Santa on December 1.

A huge crowd gathered for a true community celebration, addressed by local Councillor John Caulfield, Susan Gurren from Kilkelly & District Company, and MC’d by Bernadette Moran, Cairdeas Kilmovee Family Resource Centre.
