M&S team complete four peaks charity challenge on Mayo's Mweelrea
AS part of Marks & Spencer’s (M&S) three year partnership with Jigsaw, Ireland’s leading youth mental health charity, M&S colleagues completed the challenging four peaks, Slieve Donard, Lugnaquilla, Carrauntoohil and Mweelrea in 48 hours.
M&S has committed to raising €350,000 for Jigsaw over the next three years through a variety of initiatives, including colleague and customer donations, as well as dedicated fundraising campaigns.
The most recent challenge saw M&S colleagues take on the four peaks challenge in 48 hours on Slieve Donard, Lugnaquilla, Carrauntoohil and Mayo's Mweelrea.
Local Mayo man Eddie Murphy, country director for Marks & Spencer Ireland and Northern Ireland, who participated in the challenge, said: “At M&S, we’re dedicated to making a positive impact in our communities and the importance of supporting young people.
“Jigsaw's vital work resonates deeply with our team and our customers, ensuring every young person in Ireland has access to mental health services and supports.

Ireland by raising vital funds and awareness for mental health support whilst supporting Jigsaw's ambitious goal of reaching 1.5 million young people and their families with vital mental health support and services.
This initiative aligns with M&S's UK partnership with YoungMinds - a mental health charity for children, young people and their parents - reflecting a shared commitment to youth mental health across both regions.
