Modular extension confirmed for Mayo secondary school

Funding has been granted for two additional modular classrooms at Balla Secondary School.

Minister of State Alan Dillon said he was pleased to receive confirmation from the Department of Education that approval has been given for the addition of a modular mainstream classroom and a design/computer graphics classroom.

“This is great news for the school and the wider community,” said Minister Dillon.

He added: “I look forward to seeing these modular classrooms being put in place. I want to wish Principal Teresa Walsh, her staff, pupils and the board of management the very best of luck going forward.”
