Damp and drizzly conditions to dominate for Mayo

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24

A dry start for most on Thursday with patchy light drizzle.

Rain along the west coast will gradually spread eastward during the day.

Some heavy falls are possible, leading to localised flooding.

Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 Celsius in moderate to fresh and gusty south to southeast winds, which will become northerly in most parts by evening. Again, winds will be stronger at times near coasts.

Unsettled with rain at times. Temperatures near or above normal for this time of year.

THURSDAY NIGHT

Wet and breezy with widespread rain. The rain will be heaviest in Munster and Leinster and may cause localised flooding. Northerly winds will be mostly moderate to fresh and gusty, but will become strong in Munster. Lowest temperatures ranging between 9 degrees in the northwest and 14 degrees in the southeast.
