Mayo native set to compete in new season of RTÉ’s The Money List
Mayo native Martina Farrell from Killala is set to make her television debut on the second episode of Baz Ashmawy's popular quiz show “The Money List”, airing on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
The second season of the show returns on Saturday, November 2, with Farrell’s episode airing on Sunday, November 3, at 6:30 p.m.
The show, hosted by Baz Ashmawy, sees pairs of strangers team up in a thrilling challenge to complete themed lists for a chance at a grand prize of up to €15,000.
Each weekend, two teams face off, bidding on how many correct answers they can give for a list in categories as diverse as "Presidents of the USA" or "Madonna Hit Singles."
In this week’s episode, the reigning champions will first take on new contenders Brendan from Meath and Dee from Wicklow.
The victors will then face Nichola from Wicklow and Farrell, the Mayo contender, who will bring her knowledge and nerves to the screen in hopes of dethroning the current champions.
This season, running for five weeks, will air each Saturday and Sunday evening on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, promising high-stakes drama as contestants attempt to outwit each other in soundproof pods, where strategies are kept secret until the last second.
For Farrell and her teammates, each correct answer is another step closer to the top prize. But one wrong move will send them home empty-handed.
Viewers can tune in on November 3 at 6:30 p.m. to find out.
