Mayo county town wins sixth consecutive gold medal in Tidy Towns competition

Castlebar has won its sixth consecutive gold medal in the National Tidy Towns competition.

Members of the community are thrilled with the news.

The local Tidy Towns committee has extended thanks to all volunteers, supporters, community groups, Kavanagh's Supervalu Castlebar and Mayo County Council "who make our town a great place to work, rest, and play."
