Mayo sport star nominated for AFLW’s Mark of the Year

THE prestigious Virgin AFLW Mark of the Year competition is back in 2024, and a Mayo native is in the spotlight.

Crossmolina’s own Rachel Kearns, now a celebrated star for the Geelong Cats, is one of only three nominees for this year's award.

Fans across OZ, Ireland and beyond have until midnight on the November 17 to cast their vote for the top mark.

Supporters can view the nominees, select their favourite, and enter a draw for a major prize of $5,000 cash courtesy of Virgin Australia.

The grand prize will be awarded at the close of the 2024 NAB AFLW home and away season.
