Management of 2025 underage teams confirmed by Mayo LGFA

The Mayo LGFA Under 18, Under 16 and Under 14 management teams for 2025 have been ratified by the county board.

At a meeting on Tuesday night, Brian McLoughlin of Burrishoole was confirmed as the minor (Under 18) team manager, to be joined by club-mate John McDonnell and the Carnacon pair of Michelle and Tom McGing as coaches, with Westport's James Mulroy on logistics and Moy Davitts' Hannah Davidson selected as Female Liasion Officer (FLO).

On the same night, Francis Regan of Mayo Gaels was named as the Under 16 team manager. He will be joined on the management ticket by coaches/mentors Colin Doherty of MacHale Rovers and Orla McHale of Moy Davitts as well as mentor Marian McNamara of Islandeady. Also named in the set-up are Helen O'Hara of Castlebar Mitchels as FLO and Donal Hughes of The Neale as goalkeeping coach.

Finally, Ballinrobe’s Tom Carney will take charge of the Under 14 team for next year. Joining him will be the Parke/Keelogues/Crimlin pair of Francis McDonnell and Siobhán Conlon as coaches/selectors, Anita Murphy of Hollymount as FLO, and Jamie Butler of Ballinrobe as physio and S&C officer.

Mayo LGFA has wished the three managements teams the best of luck for the season ahead.
