Winter weather set to descend upon county Mayo
Mayo looks set to avoid the worst of the cold snap, according to the latest forecast.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19
Tuesday will start off cloudy with outbreaks of rain, falling as sleet or snow at first in the north.
Clearer conditions with sunny spells and showers will move southwards through the afternoon.
Becoming colder as the rain clears with afternoon temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees and with moderate to fresh north to northeast winds decreasing light to moderate.
Cold with frost and icy patches developing during the nights with localised freezing fog possible. Wintry showers for some.
Tuesday night will be dry in most areas with clear spells.
Wintry showers will affect northern parts of Ulster and Connacht.
Lowest temperatures of -3 to +1 degrees with frost and icy patches.
