New greenway signage welcomed in Mayo town centre

NEW signage for the greenway in Westport town centre has been welcomed by Councillor Peter Flynn, as it ‘shows people how to make their way on to one of our finest assets in Mayo’.

Further improvements to the town greenway are in the pipeline.

Councillor Flynn confirmed: “I have also allocated some funding to do similar at Altamount Street (cattle pass) and to have an anti-skid surface applied on this hill and the one at Pinewoods.”
