Monday weather update for county Mayo

Storm Bert looks set to finally ease tomorrow, according to the latest forecast.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25

Sunny spells and scattered blustery showers tomorrow, some heavy with a chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms.

Moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds will ease moderate westerly by evening. Afternoon highs of 6 to 9 degrees.

Windy and showery at first before Storm Bert gradually clears away through Monday. Cooler and more settled conditions developing for midweek with frosts at night.

Turning milder and more unsettled again for Friday and next weekend.

MONDAY NIGHT

Showers will become increasingly confined to western and northern coastal counties on Monday night with long clear spells developing elsewhere.

Frost and some icy patches will develop as temperatures fall to between -2 to +2 degrees in light to moderate southwest or variable breezes.

Patches of mist and fog will also develop.
