Mayo GAA postpone convention in unprecedented move
Mayo GAA has postponed its annual convention scheduled for Sunday, December 8.
The county board said the decision was taken 'due to circumstances outside our control'.
Instead, the convention takes place on Wednesday, December 18, at 7 p.m. in the Great National Hotel in Ballina.
Board delegates are expected to be told the reason for the unprecedented move at a meeting on Wednesday.
It's understood to be first time in the history of the board that the convention had to be rescheduled after an initial date was announced.
