Proud European award for leading Mayo lawyer

Mayoman David O'Malley has been feted at the 2024 European Legal Awards in Budapest.

Mr O’Malley, joint managing partner in Callan Tansey’s medical negligence department, Ballina, was recognised in the medical law category.

The judges noted in particular his contribution to “working tirelessly for his clients who remain central to his endeavour.”

Now in their fifth year, the European Legal Awards were created to promote excellence and knowledge through teaching, research, and pro-active networking.

David expressed his delight at the award noting: “It represents a big team effort from all at Callan Tansey and it is nice to be recognised.

"We shall keep striving to ensure access to Justice for our clients and fighting the good fight.”

Away from his busy job, David is a member of the Ballina Community Clean-Up Group.
