Mayo general election celebrations in focus

Sunday was a truly memorable day at the Mayo general election count centre at the TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar.

The county's five new TDs were elected within a number of hours, creating an atmosphere of colour, joy and satisfaction.

However, he will be working closely with new Westport TD Keira Keogh over the coming weeks and months in the establishment of her constituency office and other early commitments.
