Mayo GAA club elects its first ever female chairperson

BALLINTUBBER GAA Club has elected its first ever female chairperson.

Noelle Horan has been a valued member of the club for many years and her election continues a proud family tradition as she fills the seat once held by her father, Ballintubber GAA stalwart Seán Horan.

She is joined on the Ballintubber executive by Brian Donnelly (vice-chairman and West Board delegate), Sean McHugh (treasurer), Seán Larkin (assistant secretary), Aisling Dempsey Clarke (assistant treasurer and registrar), Mike Murphy (public relations officer), Sean Corcoran (coaching officer), Ronan Mannion (Bord na nÓg chairman), Stephanie Lally (children's officer), John Kerrigan (player representative), Cian Barrett (Irish language officer), Deirdre Donnelly (health and wellbeing officer), Martin Kelly, Tony O'Connor and Pat Barrett.

Fr. Ulick Bourke was nominated as the club's patron while Jimmy Lally was nominated to serve as the club's president.
