See Tommy Fleming deliver 'Christmas Songs for a Winter's Night' from the intimate setting of Belleek Castle, Ballina, on TG4 this Christmas Eve.

Tommy Fleming's Christmas Songs for a Winter’s Night, recorded live in the intimate setting of Belleek Castle, Ballina, with an invited audience of family and friends will be broadcast on TG4 on Christmas Eve at 7.15 p.m.

Tommy's Live in Galway Cathedral – recorded in Galway Cathedral and filmed before a live audience – also features in TG4's Christmas listings, taking to the screen on December 30, also at 7.15 p.m.

There's much more for music lovers to enjoy on TG4 over Christmas, with a mix of home-grown talent alongside international artists.

Some of the highlights include Billie Eilish: Live at the O2 (a visual record of her breathtaking concert film captured live at The O2, London, in 2023) on New Year's Day; Oasis - Live at Glasgow Barrowlands (December 22); Elvis Costello: Live at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall (December 23); Rod Stewart - It Had To Be You (December 27); The Rolling Stones: Ladies & Gentlemen (December 29); George Michael: Live in London (January 2); and Queen: A Night at the Odeon (January 4).

There will also be a wealth of traditional Irish music with Geantraí na Nollag on Christmas Day, starting at 9.35 p.m. Recorded in the iconic Tigh Hughes in An Spidéal and presented by the new series presenter, acclaimed singer Pauline Scanlon, featured artists include Johnny Óg Connolly, Mary Coughlan & Band, Mary Bergin, Eilish Lennon, Seán Lennon, Padraig Ó Dubhghail, Seosamh Ó Neachtain, Fergal Scahill, Ryan Molloy, Padraig Jack & Band, Galvian Way and Cór Chois Farraige.

Carna an Cheoil agus na nAmhrán on New Year's Day (9.20 p.m.) looks at Carna's vibrant heritage, exploring the treasures passed down through generations and meeting the new wave of locals proudly keeping their native culture alive today. For over a century, music collectors have flocked to Carna in Conamara, drawn by its rich Gaelic traditions.

Finally, Fáilte 2025 on New Year’s Eve at 11.30 p.m. sees Dáithí Ó Sé and Doireann Ní Ghlacáin ring in 2025 with the best of traditional Irish music and song in Beflast's Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, with Máire Brennan, Ríoghnach Connolly, John McSherry, Piaras Ó Lorcáin and many more. In the Cobblestone in Dublin, Fiachna Ó Braonáin will be joined by Aoife Scott, Liam O'Connor, Meave Mulligan and Marywalloper Andrew Hendy, while in Tigh Chualáin in Galway, Síle Seoige will host Róisín Seoige with Imlé, Conor Connolly, Sorcha Costello and Na Fíréin.
