Mayo native honoured with prestigious actuarial medal

Acorn Life DAC has celebrated a proud moment as Castlebar native Jennifer Loftus was awarded the Bruce Maxwell Medal by the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.

The prestigious accolade, presented just over a week ago, recognises outstanding contributions to the actuarial profession and is named in honour of the late Bruce Maxwell, a former president of the Society.

Loftus, who hails from Rocklands, Castlebar, has been lauded for her two decades of exceptional service to the actuarial community.

Acorn Life DAC acknowledged her unwavering commitment and impactful contributions, noting how fortunate they have been to benefit from her dedication for the past 21 years.

The company stated they were "beyond proud" of Loftus’ achievement, acknowledging her significant role not only within their organisation but also in advancing the actuarial profession both in Ireland and internationally.
