Young athletes make their mark at Mayo handball club

At just eight and nine years old, Dylan Surdival and Liam McDonnell have already made their mark on the Belcarra Handball Club by winning the prestigious Canavan Shield in an unforgettable, hard-fought final against Niamh Hallinan and Joe Corley.

Their victory is a testament to their unwavering dedication, having committed to training three to four days a week, pushing themselves to improve and grow both individually and as a team.

The future is incredibly bright for these two young athletes, who are already being recognised as rising stars within the handball community.

With their passion, work ethic, and determination, Dylan and Liam are not only shaping their own success but also inspiring others around them.
