Mayo to host Monaghan in charity game under lights

The Mayo GAA senior football team will host Monaghan in early January.

The charity match will be played under lights at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar, on Saturday, January 4, throwing in at 6.30 p.m.

Proceeds will go to Mayo GAA's charity partner, Mayo Motor Neurone Association.

This game will give supporters the chance to see the new football rules in play. The rules were proposed by the Football Review Committee and accepted at a special congress in Croke Park recently, and will apply at inter-county and club level in 2025.

Tickets for this challenge game will be on sale at a later date.
