Tidy Towns social event in busy east Mayo town

The Ballyhaunis Tidy Towns group brought the curtain down on a very busy and successful 2024 earlier this month when they hosted a social event for all members and volunteers at the community hall on Main Street.

The volunteer members – coming from many parts of the world – work together to make their new home of Ballyhaunis a place to be proud of.

Socialising and feasting were the order of the evening as all present enjoyed a wonderful get-together hosted by Ballyhaunis Tidy Towns.

During the evening, the Tidy Towns committee shared a brief retrospective, with photos and videos, highlighting the events of the past year.

The volunteers support the committee in the great work being carried out throughout the town all the year round. Volunteers are badly needed and are greatly appreciated for their valuable contribution through their efforts. New members and volunteers are welcome to come on board at any time.
