A Christmas treat from Mayo's Maya - Silent Night performed in Irish Sign Language
WHAT better way to get into the festive mood than enjoying Christmas carols?
Maya Bullard treated audiences at the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar to a brilliant rendition of perennial favourite Silent Night in Irish Sign Language, ensuring all who gathered could partake in the fun.
She performed at a social event called Make Music, designed for young adults with additional needs or access requirements, providing a space for all to enjoy the feeling of singing and making music in a relaxed supported environment.
The Inclusive Singing Workshops and MAKE Music programme by the Linenhall Arts Centre is supported by Music Generation Mayo and UPSTART Award from Mayo County Council.
