James Kilbane concert in east Mayo venue
Popular recording artist James Kilbane will be the main artist performing at a concert in the community hall on Main Street, Ballyhaunis, on Sunday, December 29. The concert will be hosted by the Ballyhaunis Community Council.
The hall is a cherished local landmark, serving as a vital space for meetings, events and community services.
In 2025, essential maintenance and repairs are planned to ensure the hall continues to support the community, with the gallery being converted for event use. The upcoming concert will also help to pay off the dept of over €100,000.
Kilbane, a household name in Irish music, is celebrated for his heartfelt performances that blend country, folk and inspirational music.
Two exceptional local talents, Magda Manke and Ethan Henry, will open the show with their own unique styles, making this a night to remember.
The show gets underway at 7 p.m., with doors open at 6.30. Tickets cost €15 are on sale at The Gem on Bridge Street, and also from Ballyhaunis Community Council members and online at Eventbrite, or by calling (087) 6434206.
