Mayo Mocha Beans outlets spread Christmas cheer
Mocha Beans in Ballina are spreading cheer and, more importantly, making sure those in need don't have to go hungry this Christmas.
They are giving away free soup and sandwiches to anyone who’s spending the holidays alone and in need of a meal.
If you or someone you know is in need, simply swing by the shops – located on Pearse Street and the Foxford Road – and they'll have them ready for you to take home, toast, and heat up whenever you're ready.
“This Christmas, no one should be alone or hungry,” said Mocha Beans in an post on their Facebook page.
“It saddens us each year to think of people who are less fortunate and have to be hungry this Christmas Day. Nobody should have to go through this.”
There will also be some blankets for people to bring home, if need be.
The meals and blankets are available outside the shops on Pearse Street and the Foxford Road today (Christmas Eve) and tomorrow (Christmas Day).
“This is our small way of spreading warmth and kindness this season,” the Mocha Beans crew concluded.
