JOHN PATRICK COGGANS, NEWPORT

John Patrick Coggans, “Polperro”, Carrick Road, Dundalk, Louth and formerly Newport.

Predeceased by his son John, aged 11, in 1979, by his beloved wife and best friend Patricia, brother Joseph, sisters Maureen and Anne, and son-in-law Derek. Loving and most loved father of Stephanie, Mary and David, Grandfather to Rebecca, Christopher, Amy, Lucy, Grace, Dearbhla, Ruairí, Áine and Niamh, father-in-law to Noel and Sarah, and brother of Brian. Sadly missed by his daughters, son, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

John will repose at his home on Sunday, December 29 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Removal on Monday, December 30, at 12.30 p.m., driving to the Church of the Holy Redeemer arriving for Funeral Mass at 1 p.m.

After Mass, the cortège will drive to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

ÉILIS MALONEY, BALLINROBE

Éilis Maloney, Currabuí, Ballinrobe.

Deeply loved, forever cherished, treasured and most sorrowfully regretted by her heartbroken parents, Carmel and Vincent, brother Seán and sister Claire.

Éilis will be lovingly remembered by all of her aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family, her neighbours and a very wide circle of friends.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

MICHAEL GAFFNEY, FOXFORD

Michael Gaffney, Newtown, Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow and formerly Foxford.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen and family Kieran, Michelle, Steven and Siobhán, brothers Sean, Padraig, Seamus and Bill, sister Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. concluding at 5 p.m.

Funeral arriving to St. Joseph’s Church, Baltinglass on Monday morning for 11 a.m.

Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in Baltinglass Cemetery.

Tony McCann, Kitchener, Ontario and formerly of Bristol, England and Kilbride, Swinford.

Predeceased by his parents James and Mary McCann, sisters Delia and Margaret, brothers Paddy and Jimmy.

Sadly and fondly missing by his nieces, nephews, relatives, and great friends Ken and Sheila Beckner in Canada.

A Memorial Mass will take place in Swinford at a later date.

Iris Mc Goey, Fearna Nursing Home, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of New Street, Ballinrobe.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Nancy, brother Mícheál, sisters Philomena and Attracta.

Beloved younger sister of her brothers John Desmond (London) and Donal (Ardee), sisters-in-law Chris and Olive, nephews, nieces, Community in Fearna Nursing Home, relatives and friends.

Burial took place in New Cemetery Ballinrobe.

DAVID SMITH, BALLINA

David Smith, Greenhills Est, Ballina, and formerly of Blairgowrie, Scotland, Ballina.

Predeceased by his parents David and Elizabeth and his siblings Sadie, Mary, Elizabeth. Sid, Billy, and Effie.

Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of sons Martin and David.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law Mairead and Catherine, nephew, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Burial took place in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
