Top Irish rugby star feted in his home Mayo parish
Ireland rugby team captain Caelan Doris has been honoured by his home parish of Lacken in north Mayo.
The celebrations took place at Bessie's Bar in the Kilcummin peninsula.
The crowds assembled from all corners of the county to acknowledge and celebrate the magnificent achievements of Caelan.
He was presented with a framed photograph, captured by Angela Kelly, of a legendary spot on the Lacken landscape - The Gazebo - by the Lacken Development Group.
Caelan presented Bessie's Bar with an Ireland rugby jersey signed by all the players on the New Zealand rugby team which will be hanging on the wall of Bessie's for a long time to come.
