Mayo native is CRITICAL's new corporate fundraising officer
CRITICAL Emergency Medical Response has appointed Mayo native Zoe Gallagher as its corporate fundraising officer.
In the role, Ms. Gallgher will be responsible for the delivery of the charity’s corporate giving programmes, including its newly developed offering to Irish SMEs - an initiative that will invite small and medium businesses to include CRITICAL in their formal donation structure, and will place a particular focus on areas supported by its services.
Speaking about her appointment, Ms. Gallagher said: "I feel very fortunate to get this opportunity to use my skill-set to make a difference within communities. I gained a lot of experience over more than a decade in the dynamic environment of corporate sales but, more than anything, it taught me the value of building relationships to work together to achieve success - and what better measure of success could there be than empowering communities to save lives?”
David Tighe, CEO of CRITICAL, said: “We are delighted to welcome Zoe onboard. She brings a wealth of experience to the table and her positive, can-do energy fits right in on our fundraising team. There is work to be done to increase our corporate donor base but Zoe will be building on the sound foundations already laid and she is more than up to the task.”
