Mayo AC make excellent start to 2025
Mayo AC made an excellent start to 2025, winning medals when competing on day 1 of the AAI Games at the National Sports Centre in Abbottstown on Saturday afternoon.
The national senior indoor mixed relay was one of the events held in conjunction with the games.
Three teams competed in the 4x400m relay event.
The Mayo AC team of Declan Owens, Paula Donnellan, Colette Tuohy and Keith Conroy won bronze – finishing third behind Dundrum South Dublin AC and UCD AC. No finish times are available at the moment.
“It was a fantastic experience!” said Colette Tuohy afterwards. She was one of the club's master athletes drafted in late in the week to make up the team.
