Mayo athlete makes winning return

MICHAELA Walsh has made a winning return to the athletics stage.

After almost a year out with injury, the Swinford athlete competed at the AAI games in the national indoor arena in Dublin and came first in the shot putt.

Her throw was a national lead for 2025.
