Predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Freda, his wife, Maura (nee Loughlin), his brothers-in-law, Billy Mellett and, most recently Pat Loughlin.
Liam will be most sorrowfully and deeply missed by his partner, Mary, sons Gerard and Martin, daughters, Attracta (Connell), Una (Cahill) and Maria (Dunne), sons-in-law, Pat, Tom and Peter, Gerard's partner, Mary and Martin's partner, Nora and his twelve adored grandchildren.
Remembered with love by his sisters, Mary Pears (Canada), Patsy Mellett (Kilmaine), Sr., Attracta, and Bríd Keohan (Castlebar), brothers-in-law, Bill Loughlin, Cliff Pears and Billy Keohan, nephews, nieces and all extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Canny family home in Kilmaine on Friday evening, January 17, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Funeral Cortege will leave from Liam's home on Saturday morning, January 18, to arrive at St., Patrick's Church, Kilmaine where Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11.30 a.m. with funeral proceeding afterwards to the New Cemetery, Kilmaine.
GERALDINE MORRIS, BOHOLA
Geraldine Morris (née Corrigan), Rockfield, Tralee Road, Killarney, Kerry and Bohola.
Beloved wife of the late Pat and dearly loved mother of Eileen. Very sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law John Reen, her much loved grandchildren David and his wife Jacklyn, Marlies and her partner Kieran and Daragh and his partner Vada, her great grandchildren Saoirse, Tommy Jay, Aebhín and Seán, her sister Helen (UK), nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Predeceased by her brothers Tom, Kevin and Michael.
Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home, Killarney on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Funeral arriving at St Mary's Cathedral on Friday morning at 10 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 10.30 a.m., burial afterwards in Killarney Burial Ground.
JIMMY HENEGHAN, CASTLEBAR
Jimmy Heneghan, Garryduff Park, Castlebar and formerly of Turlough Road, Castlebar and Tuam, Co. Galway.
Predeceased by his wife Mary Kenny Heneghan, parents John and Mary and sister Nancy (Mc Hale, Middleton, Co. Cork).
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary Moore Heneghan, sons John (Limerick) and Shay (Navan), daughters Vera (Morrisroe), Patricia (Walsh) and Mary (Cardoen, Brussles), brother Jack (Tuam), sister Bernadette (Tuam), daughters-in-law Beatrice and Elaine, sons-in-law Kieran, Padraic and Marc, grandchildren Jim, Fiona, Emma, Deirdre, Rory, Kian, Simon, Luke and Eve, Rory’s wife Florence, Deirdre’s husband Eamonn, great- grandson Ted, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Jimmy will repose at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, on Thursday, January 16 from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
Requiem Mass on Friday at 11.30 a.m.., Jimmy will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
