Mayo family syndicate scoop €100,000 on scratch card

THE new year has brought incredible fortune to several National Lottery scratch card players in Ireland, with winners from Dublin, Donegal, Kildare, Mayo and Wexford all celebrating unexpected windfalls.

An ecstatic family syndicate of five from Mayo have made their way to Lottery HQ to claim an incredible €100,000 prize.

Their journey to fortune began with a Money Multiplier scratch card, gifted during a wedding anniversary celebration.

The winning ticket was purchased at Kavanagh’s SuperValu in Castlebar.

While they have no immediate plans for their windfall, the family says they are planning an unforgettable holiday together in the near future.
