Abandoned Mayo puppies now ready for their forever homes
North West SPCA has happily announced that the puppies found dumped in a ditch outside Ballina early one morning a few weeks ago are now ready for their forever homes.
Accompanied by photographs of two healthy looking young dogs, the charity wrote on their Facebook page: “These are the misfortunate and now fortunate puppies that were found dumped in a ditch early one morning a couple of weeks ago outside Ballina. It was the coldest morning of the year during the recent snow and ice.
“Thankfully, Rosie and Jim survived due to them coming into NWSPCA care and being looked after so well by Dave and Becky.
“Rosie (the brown girl) and Jim are now ready to go to their forever homes, where they will never fear ending up in a ditch again. Rosie and Jim are approximately four months old and will make lovely pets.”
