Mayo GAA hurling management name season's captain and vice-captain

Tooreen Hurling Club's David Kenny will captain Mayo this year, while Eoghan Collins of Ballyhaunis GAA has been named as vice-captain.

The Mayo senior hurlers get their Allianz NHL Division 3 campaign underway this Saturday (January 25) against Cavan at 1 p.m. in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar.

Manager Ray Larkin and his selectors have announced the team to take on Cavan, a game that will be refereed by Michael Connolly from Sligo.

The team is as follows: Bobby Douglas (Tooreen); Conal Hession (Tooreen), Oisin Greally (Tooreen), Conor Murray (Castlebar Mitchels); Eoghan Collins (Ballyhaunis), Sioman Thomas (Castlegar), David Kenny (Tooreen); Daniel Huane (Tooreen), Ciaran McDermott (Ballyhaunis); Liam Lavin (Tooreen), Sean Kenny (Tooreen), Joe Burke (Moytura); Shane Boland (Tooreen), Cormac Phillips (Ballyhaunis), Jason Coyne (Ballyhaunis).

The subs' bench features the following: Kevin Duffy (Ballina Stephenites), Sean Mulroy (Ballyvary), Evan Heraty (Moytura), Mark Phillips (Ballyhaunis), Luke Connor (Caiseal Gaels), John Heraty (Moytura), Michael Farrell (Ballyhaunis), Ronan Ó Raghallaigh (Ballyvary), Ryan Duffy (Ballygar), Ryan Kilbane (Ballyhaunis), James Lyons (Ballyhaunis).

The senior hurling management for the 2025 season are: manager Ray Larkin, coaches/selectors Padraig Mannion and Nigel Shaughnessy, S&C Shane Meehan, physio Roisin Flynn, stats John Duggan.
