Time change for Mayo v Galway league game next Sunday

The throw-in time for the Allianz NFL Division 1 clash of Mayo and Galway at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar, on Sunday next (February 2) has been changed.

Originally scheduled to start at 3.45 p.m., the throw-in has now been brought forward to 2.30 p.m.

This is due to issues caused by last week's storm which mean that the lights won't be operational at the weekend.

The Kerry v Derry game had already been changed to an earlier throw-in time (12.30 p.m.) due to the Bloody Sunday parade, and TG4 will show those two games live on Sunday afternoon.

Mayo opened their campaign with defeat away to Dublin on Saturday evening, while Galway were winners at home to Armagh the same day.

A good attendance is expected in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park as the old rivals go head-to-head in Division 1 once again.
